The glow of the setting sun was illuminating these sandhill cranes
coming in for their evening roost on the Platte River in Kearney, NE.
Mimosa leaves intrigue me. Looking up during a midday stroll
through our yard this photo leapt into my camera.

Camp McDowell sunset produced Quiet Moment.
During an early evening stroll to the pond at Camp McDowell
in Nauvoo, AL, this scene simply made me sit quiet for quite a while.
This wonder was breathtakingly radiating over the
Welcome Center at Camp McDowell, Nauvoo, AL.
Platte River Sunset
While in Kearney, Nebraska, I had the distinct pleasure of visiting
the Rowe Sanctuary. It is from the Nicolson Education Center
observation wing that this magnificent sunset was captured.
There is nothing quite like a winter sky.
